My name is Patrice Nichole Byers. I am the mother of three boys and have lived in Sacramento, CA for 15yrs.  I am an ICEA trained Childbirth Educator and I am student Birth Doula with CBI (Childbirth International). I own and operate Birth Your Way – Childbirth Education & Birth Doula Services.  My teaching philosophy is that all information taught to my clients is evidence-based. I advocate for informed choices in pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenting. With education and support I believe women are equipped to make informed choices and be active participants in their maternity health care.

As a birth doula, my goal is to support women (and their husbands/partners) in their pregnancy, labor, and birth as well as postpartum. I provide both physical and emotional support while helping women to make informed choices. I believe birth is a natural process and that the birth a woman wants is attainable through the full support of those she chooses to be present at her birth. My job as a doula is to help women achieve the goal of having the birth they want, reminding them of their intrinsic power and knowledge to birth their babies. It is truly an honor and privilege to serve women and their families in this way.

I service the Greater Sacramento area as well as, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis, and Auburn area.
